With “Janvier”, the Afro Jazz artist often referred to as “Her Vocal Highness” takes a detour into Afrobeat accompanied by the equally gifted Malgic with whom she’s previously worked.
As a follow-up to the critically acclaimed peace anthem “Stand for Peace” and the successful acoustic cover of My Way, an up-tempo sound like “Janvier” is bound to get people dancing in their homes, parties, and clubs everywhere.

In “Janvier”, LesLine and Malgic denounce partners who are only together in December and flee once January comes along. It is a jab at the larger issue of disloyalty in our society whereby people profess their love for you in good times only to disappear when the going gets tough. “Are you going to love me in January, not just in December when things are tough” is the question everyone has to answer.

The song is produced by (Dreamboy) Evans, one of Cameroon’s most prolific beatmakers and the lyric video was done by Chuzih. A beautiful music video is in the works and will be released soon.
